Morning action

Dave - And Gore starts with a good run for 6 and gets stuffed on the second play on a direct snap. And 3 & out.
Dave - Fumble recovery by the Niners!
Dave - Under review, Colts challenge.
Dave - And the Colts win the challenge, punt the ball and the Niners running back, Frank Gore scores!
Dave - Sure has been quiet this week. How is everybody?
Dave - The Colts pick up a big first down on 3rd and 9 with the middle Manning trying to draw the Niners D offsides.
Dave - Manning hits his 4000th career completion. 4000! Only the 4th player in history to do so.
Dave - But the Niners D holds the Colts to a field goal. Good job so far! I am waiting for the other shoes to drop!
Dave - Curse you Alex Smith/Bob Sanders! ...OR...And Alex Smith completes one to Bob Sanders! There's the other shoe!!!!!!!!!!!
Dave - 11:50 - Niners hold the Colts to just another field goal off of the Alex Smith regular completion to Bob Sanders. Why not Nate Davis!? What in the hell is wrong with that? C'mon coach Singletary! Show some real guts and brains!
Dave - Niners punt for the 3rd time in 15 minutes and the Colts run it out to the 20. Walker gives them another 5 yards by beating everybody down field.
Dave - Boring and slow. Niners have held the Colts to just 6, handed them 3 three and outs and sacked Manning once.
Dave - Forty Niners D is frustrating Peyton. Nice work!
dave - Nate Davis recieves a TD pass from Smith and # 84 gets called for unsportsman-like conduct. Niners Finally score again! Up 14-9 over the Colts at the half. Time to hit the showers!
BT Said - it is confirmed: Romo throws another TD!
Dave - Colts recover a fumble and the Niners challenge...Awaiting results.
Dave - Baltimore is leading the Broncos 7-16. Ravens are driving from their own 30ish. Get up to the 50 with a pass from Flacco. Ray Rice is stuffed for a a loss of 4. Flacco runs it out for a gain of about 1.
Dave - 1:14 - Manning can't find pay dirt today. Niners have found it twice.
Dave - Got to run to the store, be back in a bit.
BT Said - Romo throws another one! (dance)
BT Said - NO! Clayton returns a punt for a TD.Doesn't he know i need Romo on the field to score points?!
13:28 The Commish: reminds every one that as long as a player has not started (on either bench, starting lineup or free agents) that player can be added, dropped and/or placed into the starting lineup at any point during gameday. Provided of course that said player is not subject to any waiver rules or is not on the can't cut list
13:33 Bman: Barber gets another 15 yards
14:06 Bman: if you're up 38 to 17 you don't try to score as hard... Cowpokes win
14:10 The GCDK would like to post that their manager is a very good commissioner, at the cost of his own team. This marks the third time this season he has adjusted lineups for teams that had not set their lineup to adjust for byes when playing the Commish. In each case, The Commish has taken a loss against all of those teams.

Long story short, those of you who think it's funny to joke about how bad the GCDK have been this season should really be grateful that I take my commissioners job more seriously than my team management job. Because, I am the commissioner, I could change my lineup, too. (lol) (personal note: The Paws appreciates The Commish going that extra mile for us)
14:25 Bman: Watching the Yellow and Purple Cheese Heads. Yellow stopped by a QB fumble that made it 3rd & 13. Purple aren't moving well.
14:28 Bman wants The Commish modify his line up so that the Watchmen aren't kicking his butt by 20 oints.

Should we be using Google Wave for our blogs?
14:30 The Commish: sadly, had I not done anything to help my opponent today, he still probably would have beat me.
14:37 Purple Cheese Heads snap to a Farvre who is making an ajustment. Yellow Cheese Heads recover. Yellow kicks a long FG.
14:40 Bman: Purple Cheese Heads take the kickoff to the Yellow Cheese Head's 17 yard line. MJD makes positive yards, only to have it brought back by a flag :+(
14:45 Bman: Titan's stop the Jags. MJD is still pointless.
14:54 The commish sez: I know a lot of you have has suggestions like shoud we use Google Wave or Plurk or... fill in the blank for blogs.

The only reason I think these are not great ideas is not that those services wouldn't work, but that it would require managers to add yet another account for yet another system to communicate.
15:00 Bman: Purple Cheese Head Favre throws another TD.
15:06 Bman: MJD goes 80 yards for a TD!!!! (dance)
15:39 Bman: MJD goes 79 yards for a TD!!!! Garrard the QB blocks the pursuit near the goal line to insure the TD. (dance)
13:54 Bman: Farvre just pulled off a great play: waits, throws a ball into traffic, 3 Yellow Cheese Head defenders collide allowing the receiver to run into the endzone.
Dave - Back from store, going to nap. Good luck everybody!
16:16 The commish sez: The Yahoo scoring system sucks. Ragazzi Pazzi should have at least 6 more points from Julius Peppers INT return for a TD against GLK, but neither stat tracker nor Yahoo sports is showing it, yet NFL.com is
16:54 BMan: It looks like the Jags are doing the right thing and not being stupid: MJD & Garrard are out because they're down by 3 scores. Titans to run out the clock.
17:07 Bman: The Purple Cheese Head Farvre is a happy cow: he just threw another TD pass to kinda clinch the game: PCH 38 - YCH 26 3:48 to play.
17:24 Bman: It looks like God is pissed @ Kurt: the recap of the game looks like 5 INTs & a fumble...

I can't find a game for this evening. World Series maybe?

The commish sez: If anyone wants to run the live blog, they are welcome, too. I am feeling pretty crappy, so I am going back to bed.
