Week 10 Recap

Standings: The Legal Beagles manage to finally stand alone at the top of the league with a 8-2 record after their victory against The Watchmen and Ragazzi Pazzi's loss to The Sharks. Hard Knocks has had some hard knocks but finally breaks out of the .500 pack and moves to 3rd place. The Vikings, The Wildcats, The Sharks, and The Elune Sentinels are all tied up at 5-5.
Team of the Week: The Wildcats put a season-record, Randy Moss-fueled, 133 point SMACKDOWN on the Vikings, proving that the RoboCats are not…well…robotic, and climbing back up to a .500 record after last week’s loss.
Tough Luck Team of the Week: I know most of us always think our team had the worst luck of the week, but The Watchmen put up a near-optimal line-up, had their QB throw 5 interceptions, and then watched a 60 point lead slip away after Vincent Jackson refused to show up to play and Peyton Manning had the game of the season for the Beagles.
Player of the Week: The Sharks Chris Johnson (RB-Titans), 35 points: Johnson has stumbled a few weeks this season, but his 200 yard, 2 touchdown game against the Bills marked his second week this season as the top player (his first time may actually be the most points any player in our league has ever had in a single week). The 35 points that he earned The Sharks was a decisive factor in their hard-earned victory against the previous top Ragazzi Pazzi.
The Sure, it’s a win, but…Award: There were three sort of blow-out games this week, but in the interest of having more than a few teams on the list this one goes to the Elune Sentinels. They got a decisive victory...but against GCDK, it's more of a sad bullying of a struggling team than an awesome match-up.
The What could have been Award: This one goes to the Vikings, who left 32 points on their bench (not that it would have really helped against the ‘cats this week).
Other Notable Performances

• The Wildcats Randy Moss (WR Patriots), 29 points, WR Patriots – The Pats loss is the scandal of the NFL this week (if Google news is to be believed) but Randy Moss put up an awesome 29 point performance despite it.
• Hard Knock's Ladanian Tomlinson (RB Sand Diego), 21 points– LT looked like his former, younger self this week with 2 TDs, 96 yards…this is the LT that was worth franchising, eh? If only he played like this every week.
• Leagal Beagle's Peyton Manning (QB, Colts), 27 points - Peyton managed a 4-touchdown epic victory against the Pats this week. While not his best performance of the season, it was the best performance of any starting QB this week.
• Ragazzi Pazzi's Baltimore’s Defenses (Defense, Ravens), 24 points – The Ravens had a rare shut-out against the Browns this week, and were the best defense in the league because of it.
