Team Of The Week - The City 17 Freemen flirted with a triple digit week, scoring 96 over the Dark Knights. The ongoing consistent 300 yard plus games by Drew Brees (QB-NO) have kept the Freemen on the go in spite of LT's inconsistent play.
Tough Luck Team of the Week - This is easy. The Elune Sentinels lost a heartbreaker to the Bearpaws by one lousy point. The Sharks get an honorable mention here, for finally giving the Vikings a win.
Top Player Of The Week - Maurice Jones-Drew (JAC) - RB owned by the City 17 Freemen had a 26 point game this week to go along with Drew Brees's 24 point week and the Freemen's dominant win.
The Sure It's A Win, but... Award - All the games were fairly well matched this week, so I am not sure who this should go to. Feel free to add you choice in the comments.
The Leaving It in the Bench Award - (For the losing team that left the most points on the bench for the week) The Broncos - 51 points on the Bench. The Elune Sentinels had 50 on the bench as well.
Other Notable Players for Week 6 (Starters only)
- Tie - City 17 Freemen, The Broncos - QB - Drew Brees(NO), Philip Rivers(SD) - 24 points. Some good weeks for QB'S with 8 QB's scoring 15 or more, 5 @ plus 20.
- GC Dark Knights - WR/T - Andre Johnson(HOU) - 21 points. Andre Johnson is rising to the top of the WR ranks for Fantasy players. Braylon Edwards (CLE) was this weeks top WR with 23.
- The Sharks - K - Nate Kaeding(SD) - 12 points. Sadly, this was one of The Sharks highest scoring players this week. Two other kickers scored more.
- Elune Sentinels- Def - Philadelphia - 16 points. Some good performances by some unexpected D's last week.
