Week 4 SWWFFL Recap

Team Of The Week - Ragazzi Pazzi reasserted themselves as the team to beat with a stellar 112 point performance in Week 4. With the loss of the Wildcats, the Nasty Boys moved back to the number 1 position.

Tough Luck Team of the Week - Another tough call this week. I am going to say the The Sharks edge out The Broncos. The Elune Sentinels edged out The Sharks by a scant 2 points (90-88) in a nail biter of a game that went to the last minutes of Sunday nights game. I'll toss out an honorable mention to the Broncos, who have compiled an impressive 312 total points, but are currently languishing in 8th position after a 3 game skid. Have faith Broncos, your team is good enough to beat anybody and these things have a way of evening out.

Top Player Of The Week - Larry Johnson(KC) - RB owned by Ragazzi Pazzi had 198 yards rushing & 2 TDs in Week 4. Another week, another top scorer by Ragazzi Pazzi. Is anyone surprised? BTW, the top player was... Brett Favre, who threw a stunning 6 touchdowns to rack up 34 points, but the Bearpaws left hime on the bench in their victory.

The Sure It's A Win, but... Award - Well, I haven't given an award at all to the team that has yet to get of the 'shnide', and this week is no different, but they played a hand in giving this one to the City 17 Freemen. The Freemen (the leagues most recent team to get off the 'don't got a win' bandwagon) stomped the Vikings 95-59. The Vikings have the pieces, but for the second week in the row, they are right up their with leaving the most points on the bench (not the winner there either). The Vikings optimal lineup in week 4 would of scored them around 89 points. Though it wouldn't have scored the win, they would've been right in it.

The Leaving It in the Bench Award - (For the losing team that left the most points on the bench for the week) The Sharks - 49 points on the Bench. Nobody left big points on the bench (byes have a lot to do with that one) but it is notable the The Vikings left 44 on the bench.

Other Notable Players for Week 4 (Starters only)

• City 17 Freemen - QB - Drew Brees (NO) - 25 points. We noted that Favre of the NY Bretts was the top QB, but once again the Freemen ride Drew Brees to victory.
• The Broncos - WR/T - Laverneus Coles (NYJ) - 28 points. Coles was the recipient of three of Favres 6 TD passes.
• GC Dark Knights - K - Matt Prater(DEN) - 17 points. A mid week replacement for the Dark Knights, kicks 4 field goals, 2 at over fifty yards to score some big league points.
• GC Dark Knights- Def - Pittsburgh - 14 points. The Sharks had the actual high scoring Defense in week 4, but started Da Bears instead of the Bucs who scored 18 points.
